Traiteur Grand was founded in « Montpellier, la Surdouée » (Montpellier the gifted [a nickname given to the city]). A lively, relaxed, welcoming city. A city in which Traiteur Grand is now firmly established, and where the company is actively involved in the local community, notably through its contribution to the renovation of the city’s plant garden.
Today, 30 people work in the kitchens and service activities at Traiteur Grand Montpellier. Our site in Montpellier is also the base for four people in charge of cross-cutting missions serving our various teams in the Hérault and Gard regions.
Our premises were built in 2009 and have just been completely refurbished: the kitchens and store room for reception equipment now take up the entire ground floor.
This is where all the buffet items, meals and culinary presentation services for our receptions are prepared. It is in our kitchen workshop in Montpellier that our range of services was developed: Ôthentique, a catering services with an authentic taste of nature ; Allure, a high-quality catering service and Couture, a new concept in gourmet catering.
This is a first for the region and probably far beyond! Traiteur Grand has invented an innovative concept: a chef’s restaurant area. Now, our customers can come and taste the dishes that will be served to their guests at their reception!
We welcome our customers privately in the chef’s restaurant area. Our chefs cook for the customers, in front of their eyes. Like any caterer, when our customers wanted to see our culinary creations, we would suggest a meeting on our premises or invite them to a reception. We decided to respond more specifically to our customers’ well-placed curiosity: nothing is more normal than wanting to try something before you choose!
Our Montpellier fleet of 12 refrigerated trucks allows us to reach far beyond the département. In addition to our reception catering service, in the Hérault and Gard regions, we also deliver aperitifs buffets for get-together with friends or family, and meals trays in Montpellier, Nîmes… and beyond!
